As a business owner, I learned that government decisions affect families, employers, and communities. Arizona needs a balanced approach that supports economic growth, protects public resources, and helps the next generation build a stable future here at home. I support: Housing Affordability - Increasing supply of homes for young families, reducing unnecessary regulatory barriers, and encouraging creative housing options that expand home ownership and long-term wealth building. Education and Workforce - Strengthening Career and Technical Education (CTE), workforce training partnerships, and stable public education funding so Arizonans are prepared for good jobs. Business Climate - Supporting businesses with reliable and affordable utilities, a stable and fair regulatory environment, and access to skilled workers, while addressing cost pressures like childcare and healthcare that affect both families and employers. With 1.2 million Arizonans employed by small businesses, supporting them is essential to Arizona’s economic future. Infrastructure - Investing wisely in water, energy, grid reliability, and transportation infrastructure that supports residents, businesses, and emerging industries. Regulatory Improvements - Simplifying regulatory processes, reducing duplicative reporting requirements, improving coordination between agencies, and expanding efficient online systems. Taxes - Maintaining a family-friendly and small business-friendly tax environment while responsibly funding essential services and infrastructure. Taxpayer dollars are a public trust and should be used wisely. State Budget - Improving the state budgeting process through earlier planning, bipartisan working groups, and greater transparency so Arizona can make responsible long-term investments.

A strong public education system is fundamental to Arizona’s future workforce, economy, and quality of life. Great students, great employees, and great citizens come from all walks of life, and every Arizona child deserves access to a high-quality education. Arizona must continue strengthening workforce readiness and ensuring students are prepared for careers in technology, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, skilled trades, and other high-demand industries. I support: Requiring accountability in Arizona’s ESA voucher program and reining in the rapidly growing costs of a program now exceeding $1 billion in state spending. Expanding access to high-quality K-12 STEM education, including hands-on science, technology, engineering, math, computer science, and career-connected learning that prepares students for Arizona’s growing industries. Enhancing workforce training partnerships between high schools, technical and community colleges, universities, and businesses. Increasing support for Career and Technical Education (CTE). Strengthening early-childhood education and school-readiness programs by modernizing Arizona’s tobacco tax structure to include vaping and e-cigarette products. This will increase needed funding to the First Things First program.

As an engineer with an energy background, I understand these challenges from both a technical and business perspective. Ensuring that large new industrial energy users contribute to the infrastructure needed to meet their energy demands without shifting costs or reliability risks onto Arizona families and businesses. Protecting Arizona’s critical water resources through responsible planning and stronger safeguards. Increasing investments in reclaimed water systems, conservation, and water efficient technologies. Pursuing responsible water augmentation, reuse, and regional solutions to strengthen Arizona’s long-term water supply. Strengthening State groundwater protections where gaps remain.
